Panorama draw with Randburg (13 April 2013)

4-4 in an early game

Due to the delay in the start of the league, Panorama faced Randburg in an unusual 11am kick off in an entertaining friendly.

With 16 players available (and 3 goalkeepers!), and plenty of changes during the game,  Panorama dominated most of the game, but ended with a disappointing draw.

With a new solid back three (Maluka playing in the very important central defender position), the 5 midfielders could impose their short passing, even if the first goal came from a long range pass by Pyrotis that was controlled perfectly by Wills, who scored the 1-0.
On a later counter attack, while some players where bickering with the refereee, Randburg took advantage and scored from a good volley.

It took Iving's long range cross/ shot to put the 4ths ahead again, but an unlucky own goal by Maluka (a deflection after a speculative free kick), set the score to 2-2 after 45 minutes.

In the second half Panorama made more changes, and shifted from a 3-5-2 to a more conventional 4-4-2, with Rogers in goals and Buys / Bassnet running up front.
It was Du Plessis turn to score the 3-2 after a long exchange in the midfield, but once again Randburg scored the 3-3 from a dubious penalty.

With 15 minutes to go Bassnet had a good chance but was blocked, but reacted just in time to pass the ball to the running Olgiati, who stopped and cooly slotted in the net between two players. Unfortunately once again it was not enough, with Randburg finding the 4-4 after a unlucky mistake by Pretorius, who just replaced Rogers in goals.
