In (hopefuly) the last friendly before the start of the season, the 4ths faced a strong 3rd team and ended up with a severe battering. After a battling first 10 minutes, when Soombur hit the post after slaloming between multiple players, the outcome was never in doubt. The 3rds scored around the 20th minute, and then scored 3 more at regular intervals with powerful headers from crosses.
The high balls and the lack of discipline was a bit of a problem for the 4ths, who managed to play the ball on the ground only in limited occasions. It was still a good chance for the coach to see the display against a stronger team, and to play players in different roles: with a season which is probably going to be very long, it's important to know all the possible alternatives...
