Match Report
In another episode of a miserable winter, Panorama lost 4-1 against Ikageng.
With another reshuffle due to the lack of players (Rogers, Stoychev, Du Plessis and Bassnet weren't available and Almeida has been sidelined for the rest of the season due to an injury) Panorama started with Perdichizze in goal, and Wills in the middle of the back three. Up front Du Bruin made his debut for Panorama.
The game started well, with Ikageng passing the ball around while Panorama answered with quick counter attacks. Unfortunately a mistake by the referee (not seeing a clear offside position) gave Ikageng the chance to score the first goal. Panorama pressed and got close with Ivings and Wills, but it was not to be, and Ikageng scored the 2-0 from a corner just before the end of the first half.
In the second half McGann came back after a lengthy injury, and Pretorius replaced Du Bruin, with Maluka taking his place in the back three. Unfortunately in the space of 20 minutes Perdichizze, who until then had a solid game, couldn't stop two soft headers by Ikageng.
Pretorius made the scoreline respectable by scoring his first goal ever for Panorama in 2 years thanks to a mistake by the Ikageng defense who was put under pressure by Ivings and Wills.
It was a harsh scoreline for Panorama, but with the numbers of injuries and emergency formation, it was all they could do.
