Match Report
Another unlucky performance from Panorama! Playing away to Sporting (a team fighting for promotion), Panorama, welcoming back Marco Almeida after a long injury, started with a revolutionized team, thanks to the introduction of under 15's players Rosolen and Williams, and the return of Robson, one of the heroes of the 2008 cup triumph.
The game started well and in the first attack Panorama managed to score. Louw and Stoychev worked hard on the left, snatching a ball from the attacking Sporting wing, and Olgiati then found Swanepoel, who managed to filter a beautiful pass for the runnin Soombur, who cooly scored.
Sporting, needing points desperately to stil believe in a top 2 finish, launched waves of attacks but Roger and Almeida kept them at bay.
In the second half though, after Wills and Swanepoel went close again to a second goal, Sporting scored with their first real chance. With 10 minutes to go, they scored again, taking advantage of Panorama, who, like too many times this season, run out of steam in the last 30 minutes.
It was an unfair result after Panorama showed signs of progress and improvements in defense, but unfortunately this has been the leitmotif of the season...
Men of the match: Rogers for one of his best performance in goals, and Almeida, with a commanding performance in the back 4.
