My experience at the event:

What should have been another step toward league glory turned into a disaster. Short of players, we started the game with just 11 men. Near the end of the first half, I was hacked down in the penalty box by the keeper with a brutal tackle that sent me to the hospital with a dislocated ankle, a hairline fracture, and possible ligament damage. We lost 1–3, likely waving goodbye to the league, and I’ll now be sidelined for weeks—maybe months.
