My experience at the event:

What a crazy game.

In a win-or-we’re-out fixture, we dominated the first half and went ahead twice, but somehow still allowed four goals in the space of 40 minutes. Then, for once, something clicked. We scored four more to win an absolutely insane game.

At times, it felt more like a five-a-side match than an 11-a-side game.

Personally, I probably played my best game in months, scoring twice, including one thunderbolt from distance, and offering the kind of movement, passing and energy I haven’t produced in years.
