My experience at the event:

Another week, another race. Initially I wanted to run the 21km on the tough Pretoria course, but then, due to a game of football scheduled at 11am, I decided to keep it easy and simply compete in the 10km race. The Deloitte had a 21km and a full marathon too, but the course was too hilly without a dedicated day to recover.

After a slow start (damn walkers hugging the roads), I managed to keep a very good tempo, with 2 last km completed in under 8 minutes.
The final time of 46 minutes and 24 seconds was the best of my 2012 so far, and I'm running with a little extra kilos and two sore ankles, so I can be satisfied!
Jill and David finished with a good time too, just around the 66th minute. And then it was pancake time ;)
