But never one where I felt so good from start to finish like this one. Even if my time was only 2 minutes faster than last year (and still some time off my personal record), I know I could have finished at least 15 minutes earlier, if, after finding Andy struggling, and vomiting (after a strong first 30km) with 15km to go, I did not decide to try to help him for 6/7 km so he could finish as well. But it doesn't matter, for 50km I tried to avoid looking at the watch and only tried to listen to my playlist and enjoy the beautiful surrounding of the race.
For once I did not push myself at the start, during the easy part, and I managed to never walk on the hills when running by myself. My last 5km (trying to reach an improbably under-5 hours time) were done at crazy speed, but my legs stayed with me until the end.
It was overall a great run, probably my best in a long time.
