Only 4 weeks ago I broke my metatarsal, which complicated things in my preparation for the Comrades (which is now not too much of a sure thing, since I would need to still qualify in one ultra but I won't be able to run for another 2 weeks).
After a "test" triathlon completed the day before, 24 hours after removing my moon booth, I decided to join the team since we just needed one point to win the league, after winning 9 our our last 10 games.
My contribution was what was expected: I couldn't play the whole game so I was used as a impact player in the second half. I've even managed to score but my running was down to nothing and I avoided unnecessary tackles in an easy 6-1 win that confirmed our league triumph!
